Chapeltique, ninguna como tu. Fuistes el hogar donde nacie y me crie. No puedo mas que decirte gracias, gracias a tu suelo fertil por haberme cultivado y hacerme lo que soy, un humilde hombre que se siente orgulloso de ser tu hijo. Hijo del sol naciente, hijo del calor, donde nace la hierva y el amor de El Salvador. Que Dios siga bendiciendo a Chapeltique, tierra de Dios, tierra de amor. Chapeltique fué mi hogar por siete meses, su gente es maravillosa, amable y hospitalaria, nunca olvidaré que viví allí por un tiempo, desde donde habitaba, cada día el volcan Chaparrastique adornaba el paisaje.
